Sound : 10
It Can handle all types of Music..i play alot of metal/rock and handles well i also play in a standard duo playin the hits and handles all the tones.. Running thru all differen types of amps Digital modelling to tube and thru P.a. eats all th tones very quiet no hums all volumes and tones wired expertly no hassles whatsoever
Dislikes are personal like im just not a fan of 24 frets but if you can get over that your off and running another dislike is the fretboard is flatter rather than curved (radius) i prefer more a fender start curve/radius..
Action, Fit, & Finish : 6
Forget the factory setup there was no setup... i bought as a N.O.S. From Japan so i was'nt expecting much it needed the works,, intonation, action, Tension... Plus i use 10's to 46's so i guess the factory can never handle all different requests when u make a guitar with a floyd. The Craftsmanship is second to none high end Hand made all the way absolutly flawless work...
Reliability/Durability : 10
This Guitar is made for serious Muso's,, It will handle all aspects of gigging and practicing even if you dropped it i think it would bounce back its more on the heavier side than the light side im a big guy 6ft 110kg so it fits me fine i could see it being to big for some little guys the access to the higher frets is very good...all Hardware is top notch, I would use it without a back up!! as long as the strings arent old!!
Customer Support : 5
I think as its a Made In Japan for Japanese Market i think you could kiss any warranty/customer support goodbye
Overall Rating : No Opinion
Been Playing over 30 years Had Tons of other guitars you name it ive had one unfortunatly im not rich so i buy and sell alot !!! ALOT!!!! i bought sight unseen and sight unplayed it was a huge leap of faith but ive had good buys from Japan.. so i took a stab there was not one Harmony review and not one you tube so it was a maasive leap of faith ...Shoulda Bought a hard case!!!! if it were stolen id let it fly..but im a bit like that there's not a guitar on the planet i would buy a second just because you play you enjoy you move on ,,, buy a different one next time having said that i would be sad!!! Obviously if your still reading you know im comparing it to Tom Anderson Drop Top Floyd so on!!! its a close rip off by a top notch builder there would be no chance of this guitar being released around the world USA Australia Europe so on First the dollars,, Then Taxes so on,,,What i love about it... is that for $1500 AUD its a steal, its purple, its a 80's monster (Made in 2007),,its purple ,, i love Floyds,,Headstock, Quality Hardware.. What i hate about it,, 24 frets,, unsealed neck,, Shoulda gotta case, No Paperwork with guitar like instructions info stuff liek that its guesswork all the way would it kill em in japan to print out some stuff..
